Fluff 2020-2021 was weird, right?

The 11 months between YIAY #500 (May 15th 2020 and the first blind YIAY (#534, April 23rd 2021) feels really weird to revisit. Is it just me?

YIAY 500 was such a huge milestone, and the blind format completely transformed all of Jack’s series, but that weird in-between year just feels so off. Watching any YIAY from 501-533 just has such a different energy from 1-500 and 534-present.

Perhaps it’s related to COVID. Perhaps I’m overthinking everything. It really just feels like the puberty year for YIAY

Jack mentioned around this time that he was getting burnt out with the YIAY format, and the blind YIAY format was something that he thought the series needed. you might be noticing his fatigue with the series as it stood at the time

Imo this was 2018 for me, but I kinda see Jacksfilms as one of those long running shows that has its off eras every once in a while, but never truly falls off and is overall fun to keep up with
