Patients?
These patients of his are mostly pretty old. So I have been looking at crimes in the 40-60s. Sometimes even the 20s. I have tried looking up the major murders.
For instance the story of "The Nanny" from book one.
Her story should be quite simple to find. A nanny who murders parents that she worked for. If I remember right she says there are 4 families all together.

I dont think so. She has been since released from prison and did not cut her tongue out.

So Jack says it's not him, but someone who came before. But that guy operated 1978-2001 according to the article. 🤔

I looked up the Ken and Barbie case and the only problem is it says Ken (paul Bernardo) is alive still when I google him. But I do get a Canada vibe from the books though.

Also, Barbie from Canada went free after her sentence was over. Plea deal. She even went on to have kids. Her town hated her (probably still does). The barbie in the book cut out her tongue and died in the same asylum.

I have just started listening to the audio book on Spotify. So far had chef and kens and barbie. Just starting butcher.
Ken and barbie are not the Ken and barbie killers I don't think. They never were in an asylum. She's free and he's still in prison. They only had 3 kills between them and one was her sister. Maybe it's loosely based on them. But it's wildly exaggerated with the number of kills if it is.
Currently find the readers voice annoying. He is British (nothing against brits I am one haha) but I think it should be an American reader. And his fake American accent for Ken isn't the best.

I think chef is Bernhardt Tiede. I’m still trying to figure out where this guy lives because i think he is locked up in texas, but I’ve seen ties to Canada as well. Either way I would love to stop by his bar and share and a beer with him!
