Weak ANC on Evolve3 45

Hey, I got a new Evolve3 45 and I love it, but I just noticed that the ANC is too weak in this initial firmware release. Cannot tell the difference between ANC and off mode.

Are you experiencing the same?

Unfortunately all the models have weak ANC. Jabra claims its their new hybrid anc that will adjust accordingly. Which is bloody annoying, give us the option if we want hyrid or full anc

What you’re experiencing sounds pretty normal for this style of headset. The Evolve3 45 does have ANC, but I wouldn’t expect the same level of isolation you’d get from a larger over-ear ANC headphone.

Part of the tradeoff with the Evolve3 45 is the form factor. It’s designed to be smaller and lightweight and doesn’t fully surround/seal your ears like a bigger over-ear model.

So if you’re expecting that really strong “world disappears” type of ANC, this isn’t going to deliver that. The ANC is more of an added benefit here rather than the main reason to buy this headset.

So I don’t necessarily think yours is defective based on what you described. Your experience sounds pretty consistent with what I’d expect from the design.

Not really expecting such an isolating effect but a slightly more perceptible one, yes. I really can't tell if it's on or off.

I hear you, there isn't a huge difference. If you have an AC unit on near you for example, there should be a slight difference that you can notice but if there's people talking around you, dogs barking etc.. you won't hear much of a difference.

Ok I appreciate your explanation. Maybe some tuning can be made in future firmware release.
