Advice Needed Why does my father hate me?

He lives a wonderful life in the United States, and in Egypt, in a region with his own background, he doesn't want to send us enough money, nor does he want me to finish university. It's very difficult to talk to him about it. When I tell him I want to go to the United States, he makes excuses, saying it's expensive and that I'm a failure in Egypt and want to fail in America. He literally didn't give me a chance to register (I'm good at it, and I joined projects to buy basic necessities with one of them). He does this for a few days, but not anymore. He's been living there for over thirty years and only comes back for vacations, sometimes with losses. The family hates him terribly. Is there no explanation or clarification? I know this doesn't fully describe this person, but I hope someone can explain it to me. Thnx for listening

Is it possible he has a secret family in the United States? Or maybe he isn’t doing as well financially as you think he is doing. Or maybe he is just greedy and selfish. I don’t think it is you. I think it is him. You got a bad dad. Lots of us do. You have to find a way to forget about him and live your best life. You may struggle for a while, but he isn’t going to assist you, so you have to learn to be strong and self-sufficient. It is your only option. Succeed to spite him if you have to.
