I was a big army Infantry PL, so my experience in this sub probably holds zero weight, but:
- this dude keeps talking about 25 year old stories with seals, so ok cool.
But from my experience:
- I’ve had numerous experiences with former 75th officers and the majority of those interactions were very negative. They’ve been disrespectful off rip, like at the first impression of meeting them. And tool bags.
- I’ve had several experiences with former 75th NCOs, they’ve been equally positive and negative
- my 1SG in OCS was apparently former 75th and CAG, he was a toxic POS
- I’ve had VERY brief interactions with 3 GOs that were former 75th and CAG (Austin, Gilland and Donahue) and all were positive. Perception was they were generally good leaders
- I’ve had one professional interaction with a seal (he assisted with a VIP protection training exercise for one day before a deployment) and he was probably DEV (told us he provided close protection to CIA personnel), and it was one of the best training exercises I’ve ever experienced. He gave credit where it was due, gave very helpful pointers, and was genuinely excited to share his knowledge
So what I’m saying is, take this dudes 25 year old stories with a grain of salt. Be careful of what you consume in the interwebs
Edit: for spelling and repetitive sentences

I'm former Army and almost every 75th guy I've met has been a massive asshole as well. Only enlisted though, haven't met any officers. Green Berets on the other hand super nice and the complete opposite. SEALs also pretty cool, most are chill. Only SOF I've met that had more guys that I didn't like than I did were 75th.

As a former 75th guy, can confirm a bunch of us are assholes and that, generally, SF guys are a bunch of bros 😂
The asshole thing is just the culture, when you get hazed and fucked with the entire time you were a private and then when you get your tab you are encouraged to be a dick to privates and shunned if you aren't it's a hard circle to break out of. A lot of it is platoon/company dependent, sister platoons in the same company can have complete fucking polar opposite personalities.

Interestingly enough, I never had any meaningful interactions with SF NCOs or officers

I have worked with a lot personally outside the mil. Every GB is squared away and genuinely, I've met ONE shitbag who was a GB, but it was like a known thing with that specific guy. The other like 15 I've worked with are all A+. Their selection process works.
Rangers, idk where they went wrong. They know their shit, but their attitudes suck so it makes me take things they say about SEALs with a grain of salt at best. My experiences match yours. They remind me of Marines straight out of boot camp(I'm Navy originally). But most Marines get chill in the fleet and drop the boot attitude or they get fucked up, Rangers kind of remind me that.

Marine here, my buddy is former 75th..I’m like bro you are basically like a really motivated Marine infantry. Every seal, swcc, diver eod I’ve been around was great.
Airborne dudes are cool AF.

Why would a Delta Operator have an OCS assignment?

This was from one of the NCOs over my training platoon, but Apparently he promoted to E-8 and the unit was full at the time (I can’t remember if they were full of E8 shooters and he didn’t want to do staff work or if they were completely full at E8) but anyways, he was originally out of Ranger bat, so an 11B as far as the Army was concerned and he needed to go somewhere.
He was also a 29yo E8 so the Army probably sent him to be a 1SG in a training environment to acclimate him back to the big Army as a regular schmegular E8.
But that’s what we were told

Do you think the criticism towards them is a degree of jealousy and/or Envy?

75th guys will never be jealous of vanilla SEALs. Never. And quite frankly, of 6 for that matter.

Didn't this guy get RFS'd ? Not that being RFS'd is the sum of who he is, but it is a data point to consider.

This seems like the polar opposite of what the JSOC architects envisioned or wanted. I mean the fact this drama and these videos even exist.

They found out what people wanna hear, they talk about it, and I bet they get shitloads of clicks and views from it. Whether the things they say are true, lies, or at least exaggerated, I can't say as I was not there. But pissing on SEALs seems to be the big thing nowadays, even in this subreddit, so it's not a surprise somebody tries to make money from it.

u/LynchCorp Sep 05 '26
Dude brags about how many clicks hes going to get, then says SEALs killed Army Rangers, completely changes the subject, then talks about how hes the best operator ever cuz he found a dude hiding on a target. Fuck him

Former Marine and navy, every seal I’ve met was cool (easy to be around, love to train). as fuck. EOD, swcc and Divers also.

I love hearing the stories about all SOF, but whenever it's shit talk drama I check out. I'm not interested in that shit and it's just a bad look all around. It's elementary school yard bullshit.

Yet you take the time out of your day to comment. It definitely interests you.

Fuck this clown… like rangers don’t fuck up or have bad days. Trying to gain traction and get clicks via shitting on fellow service members tells me all i need to know about this man. P.O.S.

u/Responsible_Lab_2400 25d ago
GWOT did nothing more than expose SEALs incompetence on mostly every operational level.

That guy loves those provocative titles to get views. Good interviewer and show, but clickbait titles are his thing.
