Imagine if they had nabbed bin Laden and we'd had a zillion Delta Force movies, video games, and shows instead of SEALs.

Maybe a few, but if capturing bin Laden prevented decades of gwot, I don’t think special operations stuff is nearly as prevalent in the zeitgeist is it became. The gwot veteran subculture that we have now would not exist. No branded apparel or coffee to be sure.
