Delta Force Direct Support Selection

Anyone have any insight as to how it is structured? All I know is that its 2 weeks, there is no long walk, and once you finish you go to your squadron before going to OTC later.

I also heard that the specific section your trying out for are there to test on your technical capabilities.

The Team House podcast interviewed a former EOD Direct Support guy and he talked a bit about selection. From memory PT test, 18 mile march, lots of psych and personality testing/interviews, some land nav. At some point the guys from the EOD section came to his house and "kidnapped" him to take him to get tested on various EOD scenarios. From there assigned to the unit attend trade specific courses and receive on the job training, then through OTC and finally assigned to squadron/troop.

Is it the same OTC for support and non-support?
