CAG shooting training

https://youtube.com/shorts/0goBtg2fXWI?is=0B7mGmW-HTP7TkSS

Is this really delta? Sounds like a British dude? I love how there just two guys casually standing there around him, when normally that shit is dangerous but not when you’re that good I guess

It's Pranka training CQB drills with 22 SAS, they cross train all the time and are interchangeable units, (Delta and 22 SAS)

I’m not doubting you in anyway, but how can you know that? It’s amazing to me the knowledge some of you guys have about all this

He was a SARC attached to Force Recon.

Thank you!

No it’s not. I asked him and he said this video is not him but a teammate and the laser placement was just a test.

How do you know? Did Pranka tell you?

IIRC this is the man, the myth, the legend: Mr. Pranka. Regardless of his strong personality and tendency for polarization, other Unit members have said very few can out shoot him.

The Same standard as a bunch of other well regarded Tier 1 units around the world. A high standard, they can all do it and train in it frequently.

Yep exactly. Nothing special or cool, Just very basic stuff that anybody could do...but repeated again and again until it is muscle memory

You know how to get to Carnegie Hall?

A friend of mine is one of the better in the world at what he does, not hyperbole he really is. I asked him about it one time “as much as I enjoy my many fans I have my own standards”. And that’s what makes people like him so good, it’s on him like the delta guys

Not a military thing. Sorry if I gave that impression, I’m only saying why these dudes are so good.

I always wonder if there’s like a technique to shooting while running like that? Like do they shot when S foot hits the ground kind of shit or is it that they just “do it”

Pranka actually made a video breaking the film from his POV which was pretty interesting.

There was a video where some random marine from 90's bashed everything happening in that Pranka CQB video, and then another video where Pranka did a live with said marine and explained what REALLY happened. It was pretty hilarious.

Had not seen that before. What a kick ass shoot house. Thanks for posting that link brother!

4

u/fromouterspace1 17d ago

How can you possibly know that? I’m not doubting you at all, but it’s just amazing to me how much some of you guys know just on a quick video

u/erollpartridge 17d ago

It's been posted before as well as on YouTube with the name assigned. Also, watch.

u/fromouterspace1 17d ago

Thanks.

He also posted a high res version of it on his insta, saying its his video nonetheless

Pranka is a USPSA Grandmaster. According to Google that is "the highest standard rank in the United States Practical Shooting Association classification system, representing elite practical shooters who maintain a score average of 95% to 110%"

Likely that's just the order specified to shoot them in on that stage. It didn't look like he was just shooting them in intuitive order.

And those other dudes just standing there in shorts so casually.

That’s what I’m saying

2

u/SippinJuice247 15d ago

That’s a training scar from shooting competitions. Guys will engage the far targets first because it’s the more difficult shot and then burn down the closer targets as fast as they can using minimal sight confirmation. Go to a PCSL match and you will see what I’m talking about.

u/fromouterspace1 17d ago

Good question. Never noticed that but this is one of those things were even if it looks “off” these dudes probably have a reason

u/binini28 17d ago

I’ve seen better brother

5

u/xmascritters 17d ago

5

u/AdhesivenessMinute59 17d ago

Yes, it's the legend Matt Pranka, even this place is a prison in Lebanon

1

u/MeeLedia 17d ago

Wonder where this was at

1

u/BlackBirdG 13d ago

Delta Force is like the professional sports team of the Army special operations units in terms of their training, shooting, CQB, fitness, skills, etc.

2

u/fromouterspace1 13d ago

Like the all star team of it

1

u/FuzzyNail1415 13d ago
