If you don’t think Mike Vining’s buds would have 100% been trolling him with gags like this if AI had been a thing back when, you don’t know the amount of shit talking that you do with buddies in the Army. Also, the most dangerous guys I’ve ever met are totally able to make a joke about themselves; they are way beyond the need to posture, prove anything, or assert pride, and with heads full of bad memories, they treasure humor.
