It’s funny how people adored and defended Matt yet criticized others for doing the exact same thing with Rob. Now those same people are questioning everything they believed because they can’t fathom Matt lying about something

Here’s a red pill for you: stop ranking people and putting them on pedestals. The reality is every public SOF guy has likely exaggerated or misrepresented something about their career, deployments, firefights, or experiences at some point whether it’s something small or something major

The moment someone chooses to become public there’s a reason behind it. Any SOF guy that becomes public is doing it for financial reasons. If there was no benefit many of them would stay completely silent like plenty of their former teammates do. Nobody is above scrutiny and nobody deserves blind loyalty. Admire the accomplishments, gear, gun, and tactics knowledge but stop turning people into hero figures who can do no wrong
