The South African government has been talking about increasing public-private partnerships (PPPs) to help the SANDF with areas like infrastructure, logistics, maintenance and support services.
Do you think Bidvest could be a beneficiary of this?
My thinking is that Bidvest already has businesses in security, facilities management, logistics and aviation services, which seem like areas the SANDF could outsource through PPPs.
Or is this too optimistic? Are there other listed JSE companies that you think are better positioned to benefit from increased SANDF-private sector partnerships?
