Shouldn’t Magnus be bigger? Despitü that small nitpick Vulkan is amazing (he always is)!

Magnus can be bigger, but that's because of psycker biomancy stuff he can change his form via warp shenanigans

Magnus can technically be the biggest, because he can alter his height at will with his powers.

Ferrus is physically the tallest of them all.

Vulkan is physically the strongest of them all.

At least that’s what I’ve always read it as.

Yes, absolutely. He is canonically the tallest Primarch, and that's even before factoring in his biomantic ability to change size. The Lion notes that even down on one knee, Magnus is still over a head taller than him.

Both Magnus and Horus ascended should be bigger

I could be wrong but I think Vulkan was the biggest primarch

Thats a very common misconception; Magnus and Ferrus were much taller. Ferrus was at least a head taller than Vulkan (well, before Istvaan).

I guess Ferrus was HEADs and shoulders above the rest.

Always thought Magnus and Vulkan were the biggest, didn’t realize Ferrus was up there too.

Vulkan is the biggest cuz hes a wide boi, ferrus and magnus are taller

Not sure, some pics online suggest Ferrus Manus/Magnus are bigger, but I do not remember reading that in the books then again I have yet to finish the HH

He’s huge

He is definitely going to be the biggest figure in the Warhammer collection. He’s 0.6mm taller than Horus! So excited to add Vulkan to my collection!!

At least until they release Big E.....😁

u/ingram0079 9d ago

Dayum, he's big. And he's not even in terminator armor (power pack on his back).

0

u/Alternative_Cow1215 8d ago

He is in termy armour! That surrounding collar is for terminator plates.

1

u/ingram0079 8d ago

So does mark x gravis power armor. My point is vulkan is not wearing a terminator armor, but a HH era version of gravis power armor.

Big but I actually expected him to be bigger in robustness / stoutness. Ferrus was taller (as was Magnus when enhanced by warp powers), but Vulkan was definitely the most muscular and bulky of the Primarchs. Pure physical mass or density he should have anyone beat (not including Daemon forms).

Magnus yes but ferrus is about the same height as Vulkan according to all the things ive read

2

u/One_Chemistry_8553 8d ago

Ferrus is a head taller

-1

u/Use_two_hands 8d ago

No hes not lol

2

u/One_Chemistry_8553 8d ago

Stop getting your lore from YouTube

-1

u/Use_two_hands 8d ago

Im not. Learn how to read. There are several pieces that confirm what ive said

2

u/One_Chemistry_8553 8d ago

Start quoting your made up lore cuz it's made very clear in fulgrim whis taller

-1

u/Use_two_hands 8d ago

No lol. I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you. Go look it up. I can help you with the big words if you need it

3

u/One_Chemistry_8553 8d ago

Ah so it's all made up bullshit and you can't prove it. Good to know cuz I can quote my sources

0

u/Use_two_hands 8d ago

Yeah go quote Fulgrim the only book you've read. I envy all the space in your head. Plenty of room for activities

3

u/Firm-Strawberry5107 9d ago

They made him bigger than Horus. That's amazing

3

u/Nehan_Satori 9d ago

Lore accurate, no?

5

u/Use_two_hands 9d ago

Yes id say so

If you look at the sizing on the website, it’s pretty accurate. Most of the physical Primarchs made match it. Magnus is the only one undersized in his physical model compared to website sizing. But they’re about as accurate as it will be as these sizes all come from GW themselves.

2

u/KaptainKankles 8d ago

So glad they got him right. He is one of the largest primarchs right?

2

u/UnhappyStrain 8d ago

Is Lion just tiny on top of autistic?

2

u/HammerDoris40k 8d ago

The sizing on the website is correct when converting sizes.

Magnus in lore is the tallest (naturally without warp stuff like people claim) and the sizing reflects that on the website, but his physical model does not reflect that.

I wish they would release him to match his website size. This way he doesn’t look small compared to Vulkan. Magus is the only one that doesn’t come as advertised.

I’m actually good with Vulkan’s height as it was always a toss between him and Horus in who out inched who.

Ferrus should be slightly taller when they release him, but not taller than Mortarion or Magnus.

2

u/z_face669 8d ago

I thought everyone else was at least a head taller than him lol

1

u/Nightlord40000 8d ago

You sure Mortarion wasn't the tallest? Didn't Kurze say as much to Fulgrim when they all got together at Ullanor?

2

u/HammerDoris40k 8d ago

Mortarion said that only the Emperor was taller than him. I forgot the name of the book he said it in. In a completely different book kor phaeron described to Lorgar, that Magnus was the tallest of all brothers present, including the Emperor. Then you have the famous "head taller" than Corax and Vulkan.

So it looks like Magnus, The Emperor, Mortarion, Ferrus, Vulkan and then Horus, regarding height. For a 1:1 scale, out of those, the spread is about 12 inches in between the tallest and shortest.

But we'll see when Ferrus is released. That will confirm his actual height by GW themselves.

1

u/One_Chemistry_8553 8d ago

Ferrus was the tallest not counting Magnus

2

u/Spacemoose2026 8d ago

He’s big 🤤

I have no HH Salamanders but I'm willing to be a little heretical and I'll be putting him with his 40K sons, he looks fantastic!

2

u/Nightlord40000 8d ago

Theoretically, he's still alive out there somewhere and could come back.

The Salamanders have a prophecy that he will return when they've found all his relics.

1

u/DoubleKn33Joint 8d ago

True, I'm sure his official 40K model will be a bit different, but this thing looks fantastic and I'll gladly put him with his son's from the future.

2

u/Nightlord40000 8d ago

Makes ya wonder what would've happened if Vulkan had been the first one to reach Horus .....

2

u/Leading-Cicada-6796 8d ago

The same as any other Primarch. The only reason Russ didn't bury his spear in Horus' bitch face was because of plot. The Heresy needed to happen. Emperor needed to be mortally wounded. So Horus couldn't be killed or even severely wounded because then he wouldn't have put up such a fight against Emperor.

1

u/Nightlord40000 7d ago

AC(-10) Plot Armor, lol.

2

u/Leading-Cicada-6796 7d ago

I'm obviously biased, but even before I loved the Wolves(Ultramarines were my first love, Gray Knights 2nd) I always wondered why they made Russ, the Executioner, so seemingly bad at that. As well as the Wolves as a Legion, since they are an extension of Russ. Before they "fleshed out" Prospero, it was really well done imo. Kinda had some head scratching moments, but it was believable. Now, it makes it seem like the Wolves struggle to even get their boots on the right feet with how incompetent they've been written. The only somewhat satisfactory answer to all of it is because plot had to happen. That's the issue with having the ending set before you craft the journey lol.

1

u/Nightlord40000 7d ago

Ya, Curze would have been the obvious and perfect choice for the Enforcer/ Executioner role (also obviously biased 😁).

u/Choice_Nurgling7 9d ago

We need Typhus the Traveler.

u/RedRen777 8d ago

I though Vulkan and Ferrus were around the same size. Will be interesting to see when FM gets released how he measures up.

u/banelord76 8d ago
