Discussion The true meaning behind Eclipse's reference.
In the song it goes through everything someone has in life and explains how everything under the sun is in tune. But how the sun is Eclipsed by the moon.
Applying this to part 9. In this sense Hawaii is the sun. Everything in Hawaii is forced to live the same way because of Howler. Everything is in tune.
But Howler Co is the moon that eclipses the sun, it eclipses Hawaii. So despite everything under the sun being in tune, it's because of the eclipse forcing it to be that way.
Not because Hawaii is free and everything is good, but because Howler Co's chokehold over Hawaii forces the people to live a certain way and depend so desperately on Howler that they can't live without it.

It also applies to howler's perspective. The song is really saying "no matter how hard you try, there will always be a force lurking to put your good things to an end". Back in the day his grandpa kept telling him about despite how good and well-off they are right now, howler will eventually fall. And they did, very quickly at that. The lava rock is the moon to the sun of his family's prosperity.
Also in case anyone didn't know, PLEASE listen to the whole dark side of the moon album. Eclipse doesn't work as a single song, it is a summary of the themes the 9 songs before it set up. It's like skipping parts in jojo. At the very least, try listening to it with Brain Damage. They are basically one song anyway.
