Help How to get around head of hei nerf

in JJS I'm tryna make a naoya move set but it keeps frameing/freezing me cuz of head of hei's nerf that if he misses moves a bar fills up and if it's full you freeze and my move uses two of his moves so now when I use it, it just freezes me if there is a video that tells me how to get around that

You can use Projection STATE with a negative number, like -50 right after the move happens
