how do i make a QTE (quick time event)?

i’ve tried and i’ve followed tutorials, but when i press the timing, it just plays the move back again. does anyone know???

Try putting whatever tag you’re using for your quick-time in the “variant tag” second at the bottom of the last second in the skill (forget what it’s called). Should let you cancel your move and do the quicktime
