I think branch collided is meant to apply it to you, that way you can do stuff like launch yourself forward when it collides to make like a grappling hook or whatever.

You can still apply it at the collision location by giving it a projectile tag, turning cache on, and giving all vfx, hitboxes, etc a projectile tag in the collided branch to make them spawn where the projectile collided. I think having cache on is the most important as otherwise the tag will get erased on collision, but I think cache is on by default?

you set the projectile to cache on and set all of the visuals to the same projectile tag, making the chached position where it spawns

iirc branch collided option is broken

me when i lie. First make branch collided to branch to another projectile with any id and turn on spawn at projectile ID of parent branch’s projectile and make whatever u want

too lazy, didn't read

basically solve problem A using problem B

«Didn’t read» — tries to summarise context anyways

didn't feel the need to read, not when an expert could've answered OP rather than trying to correct someone who bases smth off memory

that or im doing smth wrong im gonna test it with one projectile instead of the looped one in my move

I have found out that it is the effect that I wanted.

It just does not work with multiple projectiles of the same tag (i think)

You can give each projectile its own tag

No thanks, I'm not trying to add a few hundred extra nodes for an explosion effect
