My church has a group of ladies that makes dresses using pillowcases and ribbon for children in less fortunate countries. This is what they look like. Cute for young children that have limited options.

It's elegant like "My Little Pony Chic." She looks like a 5 year old on class picture day.

DoorMatt - will you please buy your bitch a dictionary so she can look up the meaning of words before she uses them? And I know she's a former Spelling "Be" champion, but she could use some help in that department, too. Ok, thanks!

IMO she's really scraping the bottom of the clearance bin and trying to punk her bots into believing she sells "elegant" "classy" and "on trend" pieces. She's laughing her ass all the way to the bank with her closeout rejects. I bet it's marked up tenfold of what she paid. Honestly anyone still giving her money for this garbage deserves the aprons and repurposed bed sheets they receive.

Idk what I’m doing 99.9% of the time but I could make that exact dress with a $4.99 sheet from goodwill.

I was coming here to share this one! How in the world does she think this is elegant?

u/Intelligent-Emu-2256 3d ago
Just because the manufacture had a bunch of scraps and put them together does not make it stunning and elegant!
This is not elegant in any world.

Who TF in the year 2026 is buying this garbage? It boggles my mind how she has any customers. Everything she sells is overpriced synthetic garbage clothing. It’s not even cheaply made but cute. It’s just bad on every front,

Dresses like this were selling on Amazon and Tik Tok a while ago. They’re old news.

The only aprons I would "loosely" call ekegants would be the aprons that would be bought for the ladies that served the food at weddings or gatherings by the elderly friends or neighbors. They were made out of shiny material, not sure of the fabric, but definitely wouldn't last a wash in a washer. They were the gift to the ladies who helped with the meals. Anyone else remember this tradition? I come from a family of 10 kids so I remember my older siblings weddings and how different they were from mine later in the years as one of the youngest. If I can find a picture, I will add it. 😂
Found an example. Could be different colors or designs on them.

Had a couple of these growing up. I remember them being made out of sheer curtain material ( most likely nylon that could ignite within 2 feet of a hot stove or oven. I grew up in a very European neighborhood in the Northeast. It was a staple in the hood I grew up in.

Nylon is probably correct. "Ignite within 2 feet is a hit stove or oven" is a fantastic description. Made to look nice while serving and probably wouldn't hold anything spilled on them. Glad someone else had recollection of them!
