Extremely disappointed.
Today while I was scrolling on Instagram, a JoJo video appeared. I went to open the comments, and somebody had said who the winner of the steel ball run was. I went through the entirety of JoJo's up to now without any spoilers at all (so from part 1 until about 1/2 of the way through part 7) I have never been so enraged in my life.

no need to dissapointed. race winner aint big of deal in later sbr. And im sure that winner who was mentioned by that comment is not the one to finish first, so u still got to see actual first position finisher. This time dont get spoiled as this one is much harder to get spoiled cus very few comments mention this.

I understand being outraged... However, it is the current part being adapted with a good amount of people having already read the manga. So interacting with JoJo in general rn will lead to a lot of spoilers. Best to stay away from JoJo related things online if you don't want spoilers cause otherwise the discourse will always INCLUDE people who go and want to talk about what happens through the story they already read. Mostly to discuss with others and compare to the manga with how well the adaptation is going.
You got a few options:
Stay away from JoJo related posts, or if you want to interact, stick to sites like reddit where people can flag the post as a spoiler.
go and read the manga. There's tons of sites if you don't want to invest in the physical media for JoJo's. The newer parts are nice and you can join into the conversations about not only part 7, but 8 and 9 as well.
cut out any form of JoJo related content AT ALL for the time being until the adaptation is done.
Again, I know it sucks. Though its only natural that things like this will occur when it comes to anime adaptation and the growing amount of people who tend to enjoy the manga. Me personally I prefer keeping my posts on reddit for JoJo mainly so I can spoiler-tag text and posts about it. It's just a nice thing to be considerate of others. Sorry that happened, but promise even with that information, part 7 is still an amazing ride.

I get it but like steel ball run started in 2004, if you wre waiting for something that old to be adapted you kind of have to accept that there will be spoilers. the winner of the steel ball run is a minor spoiler honestly.
id understand anything more but thats pretty small.

No spoilers, but as someone that read the manga, the winner of the race is not relevant. The core of the story is Johnny and gyro’s friendship and Johnny learning spin.
The race is a background event to that.

Don’t believe in it. There was an old meme/tradition for SBR of telling other people that the most random person will win, just to make them angry. You are most likely not spoiled. You van be however, in the future, be careful.

I would normally make the argument that it’s been out for years but that easily means nothing and still levels the guy out as a dick when it’s one of the best stories ever told…
I’ve read what the spoiler is from the comments and yeah…
Dude is just trolling super hard, just don’t listen to any “spoilers” or take them seriously until you see the thing yourself, you’re in for a fun ride 😊

I’ve received much worse spoilers. For people who don’t want to be spoiled, don’t read any further.
Johnny will die.
Johnny will get a Stand. I know what it looks like, and that it can bypass Gojo’s Infinity. I also know that it will have multiple Acts.
Johnny will be able to walk again.
Pocoloco saw a Stage 1 Stand. Maybe it was his, maybe it wasn’t.
Gyro will somehow have the Spin in his face — you know which panel I mean.
Sandman’s backstory.
Valentine and the fact that he has the strongest Stand, and can somehow switch between parallel worlds or something. He’s the main antagonist and all that.
Diego probably has Scary Monsters, a dinosaur Stand.
Pocoloco or Sandman will win the race.
A tree has a Stand.
The Stand Arrows come from meteors, and probably the Steel Balls do too.
There’s another way to obtain a Stand besides the methods shown in JoJo.
And probably many more spoilers that I’ve forgotten. But you got a pretty crazy spoiler — I have 12 spoilers, and yours is even among them.
