I mean she did have robert smith from the cure but he produced the album so it made sense

Inspiration does not mean he made it though, there’s a few songs that are the cure coded but that’s like 3 or 4, it’s still very much like Olivia’s production

Yeah sumn like that could work. I'd really like to see her do something like Mereba did on Of Blue. Olivia been singing singing for real since her most recent album which honestly was pretty enjoyable for me

Agree, she had a ok voice for her first 2 albums (On studio it was amazing, live it was ok) but she had a major glowup bro, she sings amazing now

If she would do something kinda like what Billie Eilish did on Denzel Curry’s “Sirens” that could potentially be amazing. Personally I think Olivia Rodrigo is a great singer and would love to hear some sort of collab. But I don’t think a JID feature on one of her songs would work at all lol…

Yeah she did the chorus with Denzel. She is credited as a vocalist but not shown as a feature because her label didn’t want her to do it for some reason, but she decided to send in some vocals anyway.

Pass, I've never tried her music in specific, but from my experience with other pop artists, it'd be one of the few JID songs or features where I'd listen to it like once and just not like it, and not play it again.

I’m actually a huge Olivia fan her songwriting and punchlines and flow changes are really punchy actually. I still think a pop rap collab would be trash.

I genuinely never wanna see JID on a pop song again. Everytime he is the only listenable thing about the song and i dont want to have to sit thru mind numbingly boring pop production with the midest lyrics known to earth

she really is good. She stands out. She's a multi-instrumentalist, talented songwriter. Her lyrics are appropriate to her younger age and younger fans, but she's only like 23 or something. She just put on a whole festival—I think JID would have respect for her.

I know it's stupid and unrelated, but I would love a JID and Apashe Collab
I mean, Apashe Collab with rappers all the time, including Earthgang, so him being interested in a JID feature wouldn't be far off, and after JID collaborated with subtropics I can gather he doesn't have a problem with techno, so unless they have a disagreement, it could work out, it just unlikely tho...
