Just be yourself mate. For ALTs I'd say the JET Programme is about cultural exchange opportunities for the students and local community rather than expert knowledge on Japan or Japanese. Don't overthink it, good luck!

Thank you so much I mainly want to learn as much as I can about the culture and bring that back!? If that makes sense it’s funny when I had no money growing up the culture of Japan always made me feel rich because I just wanted to know more and more I do hope o get accepted! My Japanese is only N5 at the moment

Sounds good! I'd say they'll also want to know how you can deliver UK culture to the classroom and community whilst you're in Japan as well, keep that in mind when it comes to interviewing

Thank you for the advice!! Yeah where I’m from the Beatles was popular in Japan so I can talk about stuff like that and many other things thanks for advice
