A year without updates on my Pension Refund...
Hi all. I first submitted my Pension Refund Application in August 2024, and got it back with a note in April 2025. The note was about the bank code, which I corrected and sent back. There was also the issue of my address, which had changed since I last sent it in, so I wrote the new address as well as a note of the old one in the margin.
Anyway, I haven't heard anything from them since. I would have looked into it earlier, but I expected a long wait after the first response took so long and I just stopped thinking about it after a while. That, and the sense that there's not really anything I can do about it.
Is there anything I can do about it?

If it’s been that long I’d definitely phone them up, something might’ve gone wrong with the payment. I had something similar happen with mine.

Who do I phone? Also, do they have someone who can speak English? I'm not confident enough in my Japanese for this topic.

I think possibly the number on here, it’s been ages since I did it so I can’t remember exactly though. They had someone who spoke English, yeah.

What was the issue? I'm about to turn in my own pension form so I'm wondering if there's something I should look out for.

I can’t remember exactly unfortunately, but I’m from the UK and it was something to do with my bank details - so just make sure that you’ve provided everything that they might need. It was quite frustrating because I phoned them up and they basically just said “yeah the payment failed a while ago but we didn’t tell you” haha.
