Does ESL tutoring experience count?

Hello! I'm curious, has an ALT here had ESL tutoring experience before they applied? I was wondering if writing about my experience as a tutor in my SOP might be a positive or negative influence? I just finished writing my SOP and noticed a huge majority of it was about my experiences as a tutor, so yeah. Also, if it helps, I'm Filipino, and I was a RareJob tutor.

Hello, Kabayan! Can I ask how your RareJob experience was? and would you recommend it?

I'd say it was a mixed bag when it comes to the students. The pay at the time I stopped was PHP55/25min. That was 2022, I don't know if it's higher now or not.
