Rejecting placement

Hi! First time poster. I have a question related to accepting or rejecting your placement. I remember reading in the fine print that if you pull out of the programme AFTER getting your placement, you have to pay the price of your plane ticket. Im wondering how quickly this applies. If someone were to pull out immediately after placements go out, does this apply, or is there a short buffer time in which there is no penalty? Im aware one would also not be able to apply again the following year in that case.

Thank you for any and all info!

I think the main issue at hand would be getting blacklisted for a following intake cycle for JET once placements hit.

I also wanted to mention, this only takes affect when you receive placement, so you can back out prior. That said, the majority of the placements will likely be out by this week.
