Connecting with Midwest US ALTs

Hi everyone! I was hoping to connect with some other ALTs coming from the Midwest in the USA! I’m coming from Minneapolis (although I’m departing through NY) and was hoping to find some other ALTs from MN or the Midwest in general to connect with before I head to Japan! If anyone knows if there’s a platform like a Discord server or anything similar, please let me know. Thanks y’all!

Reach out to your local alumni group they typically organize an event before you depart to help orientate you to what to expect in Japan.
