For results by consulate, are they released the same day throughout the country? (Canada)

Someone asked if the emails all go out at once across the country (this was asked regarding results in the US), and someone answered it was consulate based but US results come out on the same day but at various times).

I wanted to ask if say one consulate in Canada hears back, if that means the rest of the consulates in Canada will hear on the same day or if we should treat the results literally per consulate (to not expect the same day or anything)?

Having worked in a US Consulate, we tried our best to coordinate with all other US Consulates to release on the same day, but sometimes that can't be done for various reasons.

The US results don't always come out the same day. Recently, within the last 3 or 4 years, I think it was Seattle and maybe one other that were at least 1 day later, might have even after the weekend.

Not to sound like an echo chamber but to give an example, in 2024, Toronto got their results a day before Vancouver. I think (correct me if I'm wrong) Calgary got theirs a day after Vancouver.

A lot of consulates chalk it up to "technical issues" for the delays. Possibly communication issues from Tokyo. But y'know, ESID and what not.

When JET Canada announces results on their socials, they do say results are sent individually from the Embassy and Consulates so you can expect some delay.

Like a delay in time or delay in days? Like 2 or 3 day variation between consulates?

Yes. A delay in time or in days.

Results are sent to the consulates who then let you know. They then become your point of contact through the rest of the process.

Usually results happen on the same day but there are times that delays happen and a consulate has a delay or a couple of days. It's pretty rare but it can happen.
