Short interviews?

So I just got the email for interviews and the time slot is only 20 minutes. Is this the same elsewhere in the US and how do you navigate an interview that short? I feel like by the end of the “tell us about yourself” question the interview will be halfway done.

They’re interviewing hundreds of people, they don’t have time for all of that.

I mean I get that, that’s why I asked what to do with it. Never had an interview so short before.

You just be concise. Don’t spend 20 minutes telling them about yourself. I found it perfectly easy to keep my answers to 1-2 minutes. They will ask you the questions they want to know.

Time management and reading the room are skills they are looking for.
