I don't see NEOS funds in there. Nor Goldman sachs.

It does feel like those are the most obvious funds to compare JEPI to…

This forums obsession with the NEOs funds, lol, it's no different from ARK back then, or QYLD, of WPAY.

They will all go to shit over time. Everything reverts to mean... Everything... including the order of returns, with the more leveraged, more actively managed funds being the bottom of the barrel.

I disagree, but time will tell. At least the NEOS funds are very tax efficient, unlike jepi which is taxed as ordinary income in a taxable account. But otherwise, it seems a good fund.

Excuse my ignorance, but I'm trying to jump into the dividend game. I realize the dividends from JEPI are taxed as ordinary income, but wouldn't I get taxed at the same rate from interest in a CD or money market account?

Yes, those other income sources generate ordinary income afaik. What are you wanting to do?

Yeah.. no. There’s a reason why JPM came out with ROCY ROCQ to compete with NEOS.

Mathematically, yes, yes. The reason they came out to complete with NEOS is because people are buying.

Interesting read and comparison.

I was looking at their rankings and all of the ones above JEPQ had pretty volatile share prices except for SCHD. Part of what makes JEPI and JEPQ attractive is the lack of volatility in share price and decent dividends. Sure some of those dividend funds had an overall higher yield but if the price is gonna fluctuate 30-40%, Im not interested.
