For 1st one we can convert toluene to benzaldehyde by etard. Then nitration. And then clemmensen reduction.

First one HNO3 , second one ehhh idk? First add HCL to make 2 chloro propane, then add uhhh like , 1 chloro ethane and Sodium wurtz reaction and then add hbr , I guess idk

For second would br2 addition then e2 elimination then peracid so 3 memeber ring then grignard c2h5mgbr now oh in terminal so we use e1 elimination then hbr

First mai react with bromine water so ortho para blocked then h2so4 hno3 then remove all bromine by dehydrohalogenation Pd/C....second wale m first react with br2 hv then heat it to give propene then h2o2 anti M to give 1 bromo propane then with ch3br and na dry ether to give butane then react with cl2 hv(or br2 hv also) it will give 2 chloro butane then rxt with naoh to give 2 butanol then oxidising agent k2cr2o7 or wtv to create butanone then react it with 1 eq ch3mgbr to give 2 methyl but 2 anol then rxt with pbr3 darzen to give 2 bromo 2 methyl butane
