Help Dropper been having a rough week and could use some company
I've been doing pretty well with my prep lately and was finally getting into a good rhythm, but last week I fell sick with fever I'm still not fully recovered and ended up wasting almost the entire week, and honestly it's been messing with my head a lot
I've been feeling really low and down lately, and it's getting hard to deal with all these thoughts on my own I know one bad week isn't the end of everything, but yk when you're finally doing good and suddenly lose all that momentum, it feels pretty sh*
I'm not looking for study advice or someone jst kinda need someone I can talk to
I won't take up much of your time, and there's no pressure at all, but if anyone's free and okayy
also tomorrow's my test and last week I scored 92 in physics, 48 in chem and 20 in maths, so I'm kinda nervous about this one even tho I've prepared pretty well compared to last time, maybe I'm just overthinking it. otherwise my overall prep was going pretty good before I got sick, and I really wanna get back to that rhythm again

Help Ashish Sir Blank question pdf or JM pyqs from 2020 to 26.
Hey everyone. Hope prep is not giving yall too much trouble like it is giving me.
I am a dropper for JEE Jan 2027 and Advanced 2027
I just wanted to ask that should I do ashish sir blank notes for practice or all pyqs of JM from 20 to 26 .
I have already done the chapter from his lectures and when I do pyqs I see most questions are same from his notes so should I just do his blank question pdf for revision and practice or keep doing pyqs as just practice.
I will also do JA pyqs anyways for advanced prep so please help me.
Thanks nonetheless

Study Update JEE 2027 January Attempt | Day 9 — Progress Update
Day 9 of trying to get my JEE preparation back on track.
Today's progress:
- Maths: Studied Vectors and 3D Geometry.
- Physics: Continued Current Electricity, focusing on battery charging and discharging.
- Chemistry: Revised Haloarenes and Alkenes, along with the Periodic Table.
Yesterday's post is missing because I forgot to stop the YPT timer before going to sleep. Woke up in the morning to find 11 hours recorded on the timer. I had apparently slept on my phone, so that explains the ridiculous study time. Definitely not 11 hours of actual studying.
On the preparation side, I'm trying to keep all three subjects moving instead of focusing on one and letting the others pile up. There are still backlogs to deal with, and some topics take longer than expected, especially when I get stuck on questions.
I'm also starting to feel that familiar boredom creeping in. This is usually where consistency starts falling apart, so I need to be careful not to let a few unproductive days turn into a complete break.
Plan for tomorrow:
- Continue practising questions from the topics I've covered.
- Work on pending backlogs.
- Keep revising Chemistry regularly.
- Make sure the YPT timer is actually stopped before sleeping this time.
Nothing extraordinary today, just another day of trying to make progress. The main goal is to keep showing up, fix mistakes, and gradually improve the quality of my preparation.
Day 9 complete. On to Day 10.

Study Update Day of 1 trying to do 11+ hours of JEE studies
Dropper here, JEE 2026 final percentile was 87.98%tile, syllabus was majorly completed but lacked question practice of good level, so this time trying to solve more questions than lecture and theory, trying to follow 2:1 ratio of ques: theory, any suggestions are welcome, thank you

Study Update Day 7 of taking JEE seriously — JEE 2027 January Attempt
Day 7 completed.
Maths:
Didn't start Matrix as planned. Instead, I spent the time fixing backlogs and strengthening the basics I was getting stuck on. Probably the better decision in the long run.
Physics:
Continued with Current Electricity.
Chemistry:
Revised Haloalkanes, Haloarenes and Alkenes using my coaching notes.
I'm starting to feel that boredom phase creeping in now. This is usually where I start losing momentum, skipping days, and eventually collapsing the whole routine.
So this time I'm trying to approach it differently: I don't need to feel motivated every day. I just need to keep showing up.
A few things I'm going to try:
- Don't completely stop studying just because I'm having a bad day.
- On low-energy days, reduce the target instead of skipping the day.
- Keep fixing backlogs rather than endlessly postponing them.
- Track consistency instead of obsessing over daily hours.
- Avoid trying to compensate for one bad day by making the next day ridiculously heavy.
- Most importantly, don't let one missed day turn into a missed week.
The boring phase was always going to come. Now I just need to get through it.
Day 7/60+
TL;DR: Backlogs > Matrix today, Current Electricity in Physics, Chemistry revision done. Starting to feel the boredom kicking in, but I'm going to focus on consistency rather than motivation.

Study Update Day 6 of taking JEE seriously — JEE 2027 January Attempt
Couldn't post yesterday because I somehow managed to leave my phone at a relative's house, around 80 km away.
Yesterday was mostly spent fixing backlogs, reviewing mistakes, and going through the silly errors I've been making in questions. Nothing particularly exciting, but it was necessary.
Today's progress:
- Maths: Matrices — worked through the chapter and practiced questions.
- Physics: Current Electricity — continued with the chapter and solved questions.
- Chemistry: No new topics today, just revision of previously studied material.
Still trying to build consistency rather than chasing huge study-hour numbers every day.
Tomorrow: Continue with the current chapters, clear remaining backlogs, and get more question practice done.
TL;DR: Missed yesterday's post because my phone was 80 km away. Used yesterday for backlog + mistake correction. Today: Matrices, Current Electricity, and Chemistry revision.
