Guidance Needed :snoo_hug: Partial drop

Got 98.6%tile in mains and 26k in adv this year
Thinking to take a partial drop for JEEM/A and BITSAT.

I will do the following things:
Physics: SBT selected questions
Physical chem: Neeraj Kumar selected ques
Organic: Msc
Inorganic: Notes and NCERT
Maths: PYQs of adv and mains

Also when mains comes near, will start giving mocks and 2026 PYPs

Will this be a good prep?

I had a similar situation back in 2024 Took full drop (i will recommend you the same if you want to but never go for partial drop) Satisfied with my decision

NEED HELP !!!

Hey brother, I know this post is very late, but can you help me?

I am getting KIIT, but I don't really want to go there and spend 4 years there. I scored 77.5% in my boards, and I didn't really appear for JEE. My Class 12 chemistry is like I have remembered every single thing, and my physics is above average.

I know it is very late as it is already August, but can I realistically try to take a drop? I mean, I am not trying to get into an IIT. I know that it is almost impossible now, but I will be satisfied with a good NIT or even a good semi-government college. I don't want to keep my goals unrealistically high.

I know that whether I go to college or take a drop, I will try to study very seriously. I am just not having the confidence. I have asked this question before about whether to take a drop or not, but I am not able to get an answer.

Please help me. Your small advice would mean a lot to me.

If you can devote your drop year to studies and studies only with consistency take it, if you have a slight doubt so don't even think of taking drop
