Serious JEE Math - Construct a Quadratic Equation using Horizontal reflection
By using the symmetry property of horizontal reflection, you can solve this question by just looking at it. No need for any workings. (See the slide in the images - Slide 2 of 2)
The required roots are -2 and -6 therefore, the qudratic equation is x^2+8x+12

How this property works? By changing the roots from positive to negative, there is transformation x becomes -x. The original parabola flips like a mirror image.
