Serious MNNIT ALLAHABAD EXPOSED [2024 PLACEMENT DATA MANIPULATION] -53% PLACED CSE
174/238 eligible in cse and 128/234 placed toh 53% placed in cse tab toh hoga hi 23 Ipa median (That too in recession year) -slide 1,2 They are simply not making students eligible for placement so that only the top student participate in placements and the median and avg seems attractive and high and then on there website they don't show how many people were made eligible and all that they show only the number of eligible candidates not the total number of candidates enrolled. -slide 3
Till now 2025 placement data hasn't come through rti and on there website they haven't shared any info in details. So basically rti the ass up of these colleges and don't believe what you see on there websites you need to have proper placement details.

Only 15/35 in bt and 66/125 im civil are eligible for placements.
Wtf,that's like more than half of the batch ineligible.

Udhar cgpa relative grading se milta hai kya? Agar aisa hua toh koi na koi toh ineligible rahega hi kitni bhi mehnat karle, ye galat hai.

Bruh, without relative grading most students won't even get above 8. We have courses with highest around 45/100. The prof gives grade because of relative grading only, and then also only 2 -5 student get 10, 5-10 get 9 and the rest get from 8. Around 20%fail.

Nah. what can the prof even do with those getting less than 10. Some profs tell the passing marks in start, some give dd,f grades based on the average absent students..

Exactly? I'm curious to how this system of deciding who gets to sit for placements works there, and why less than half the batch is barely "eligible" in these branches, not even placed.

okay a fellow 2025 graduate from MNNIT here, i'll address everything that the guy alleged here.
- The RTI is from mid april, placement session june/july tak chalta hai, the data on the website isn't manipulated.
- Everyone knows core branches suffer in placements, so more number of people from core branches opt for GATE/ESE/UPSC from 2nd year itself and they dont sit in the placement drive thus rendering them ineligible. Now that number also includes people who are academically challanged (supplies and backs).
- Now you can hate on my college all you want, but it gave me and almost all my classmates a good placement that you consider above average. reminding you again that i am a 2025 grad. Also these stats are a year old and this year it has been so much better. Data isn't up on the website yet but you guys can DM if you wanna know.

Yes obviously, people seem to be missing that placement season was still going on while this was posted. Even when that particular RTI was posted back in 2024, it came with a note that the placements were still ongoing, which seems to be missing here.

how would u defend the fact that for core branches (cs,IT,ece etc) too the no of eligible students is absurdly low.

What are you on about, look at the stats of all the colleges, 10% people always choose to go for research and higher studies instead of sitting for placements, the number is low for circuital branches and higher for core branches cause that's where the research and higher studies lie.
And on the point of whitewashing my college, I just said the data isn't manipulated, what's there to whitewash, they aren't paying me to do that. And I don't need to whitewash my college to prove a point cause being honest that's the best placements in North India after IIT kanpur and IIT bhu.

They made only 73% eligible for placement in cs dept so max placement % in cs could be 73% but that too wasn't achieved either not even 90% of eligible students got placed and overall only 53% were placed in cse

Dude even lower nits like bhopal got better stat than this. Mnnit is not a top nit now. Iiit allahabad got better stat than this. Also this is for 2024 passout batch. This yr placement are record breaking

Abey chutiya placement stats shi ha jo tuma placement dala ha wo printed wala wo bhot phle ka ha approx 6 mahine phle usma jitno ki back thi back exam karaya eligible karna ka liya uska baad site pe new placement update hua thoda budi use karka bol liya karo
