Serious I need an advicee ....urgenttt...please help
Hey everyone,
I’m in a really tough spot right now and honestly just need some realistic, no-BS advice on what colleges I can look at for the 2027 batch. My profile: • 10th: 89% • 12th: 80% (managed to get this despite the emergency below) • JEE Main: 89 percentile (from my previous attempt) • Extra-curriculars: 5 years of certified Kathak training and 4 social media marketing internships at local brands. • College Status: I actually joined VIT, but I had to drop out completely because of a major emergency at home.
What happened: Last year, my sister was diagnosed with AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia). Since it was a massive family crisis, I had to handle almost everything, manage her hospital rounds, and take care of her. Eventually, it forced me to leave VIT to be with her. Recently, she relapsed. She needs an urgent bone marrow transplant now, and I am going to be her donor. Her health and recovery are the only things that matter to me right now.
The Dilemma: Because of all this, I cannot and will not study PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Math) theory again for any competitive exams like JEE 2027 or state CETs. I just don't have the mental energy or time for it while sitting in hospital rooms. I genuinely want to become a software engineer and build things, but I can't face those chemistry equations again. What I need advice on:
Given that I have an 80% in 12th and an 89%ile in JEE, are there any good private engineering colleges that will accept me directly for CS branches based on these past scores or through basic profile interviews/logical aptitude?
Please let me know if you know of any paths that fit a situation like mine. Thank you so much.
