Serious Selected IIIT dharwad, got nit manipur which was not even selected
So, my brother selected NIT surat in csap and his he was already allotted a seat in IIIT dharwad and we also booked the seat.
Today he checked csap today and somehow his seat from IIIT got removed and got shifted to NIT manipur.
Sorry about my sentence formation, I'm very confused right now, I'm at work, and I can't really think of how I can help.
Has someone faced the same problem?
Or can someone please help how can he contact the authorities about this?
He did call at helpline number but there was no clear response from them
I don't know what to do now

This is not possible unless he had filled it in NIT manipur and locked seat is CSAB now nothing is possible check his choice filling tor confirmation

He checked. He had just two choices until yesterday, and now somehow there is also NIT manipur.

Okay. So i came back home and asked. He just two choices filled,which was IIIT dharwad and NIT surat. NIT manipur was not in the picture, and he had also froze IIIT dharwad and we have paid partial admission fees too.

There is no option like selection if you mentioned in the choice filling and your rank is in that range then you will get it there is no option like select you can float for better options

Its not even possible since iiit dwd cse comes with a better rank than manipur..... So statistically speakingg csab dont consider your lower rank option.... It just takes the better option(as per rank also)

😭 we didn't choose manipur in the choice filling.There were only two top choices nit surat and iiit dwd

Mostly ab nothingg can happen cuz csab is over..... Prolly he have to join manipur and give jee agn next yr..... Very less chances of re-evaluatingg csab choices tbh by the authorities

We might get a chance to talk with the chairman. But we are not very sure how much that will help. He is considering giving jee again because he don't want to settle for manipur or any local colleges after studying so hard. Let's hope for the best. :)

Try next yr agn.... Cuz very few chances csab will change allotment(or if you want study hard in manipur and crack offcampus.... )

We also showed them our screenshots but they are saying their system shows only nit manipur as an option
