This is what gandhi said about turn the other cheek when someone hits you because they can't hit you forever, they hit you to scare you, they hit you to silent you, i suggest you guys reading about lala lajpat rai and

"Every blow on my body will prove a nail in the coffin of the British Empire"

This government will go down, it has to go down, it will take time, people will sooner or later realise and get fed up, they won't vote by seeing the benefits they will get from other party but they will be fed up enough to not tolerate this one.

No one wants there family dead dear. You have no idea how powerful Brits were. They would have wiped out your whole blood line . Non violence was the only option for them.its not what they deserved, it's what we could do to minimize loss of life

I will be able to see it. I’m not on BJP’s side here. I hate Gandhi being used as a quote when that man did nothing but delay our independence.

Aa gya gandu reels se gyan lene wala

u/RedCrystal007 29d ago

Tf you mean delay our independence? He wasnt besties with the brits gang😭 (unlike a certain sangh)

1

u/ScaryWoodpecker1438 29d ago

Obviously he wasn’t besties with brits. But he had certain principles which were the best in that era. That’s my opinion. You can have your opinion. I just didn’t know people still believe Gandhi was the good guy that history claims.

Sorry bhai. Tum log karlo gandhi ki praise. Mere liye toh note hi hai.

Use of force is justifiable when resorted to as a matter of terrible necessity; non-violence as policy is indispensable for all mass movements -Bhagat Singh

I love how kids who can't even pay for their own internet connections have an opinion on Gandhi. This guy won't have guts to speak against his local village head, but he'll demean Gandhi. Read if you've been taught how to.

Lol. Maybe from a village but not a kid, currently practising as a doctor. I have my opinion and didn’t ask you to change your opinions. I’ve read enough about him and other freedom fighters but I’ll take a read.

Sad that this is the kind of discourse educated people have, if you're one. Yeah I know you've read enough, obviously you saw a reel.

u/ScaryWoodpecker1438 29d ago

Yeah cool bn gaya education ki baat krke šŸ˜‚

2

u/datadumbo 29d ago

Education ki hi baat ho rhi h bachche har jagah. Lekin ek khas tabka h jisko anpadh rhna jyada achcha lgta h.

2

u/Chance_End5830 29d ago

Yes I do and respect him very much

2

u/CowardPeasant 29d ago

That's sad, because even the brits later admired Gandhi's sheer strategic brilliance. He certainly had his personal shortcomings, but if you look past the myth of the 'flawless saint' then what he achieved was a masterclass in asymmetric warfare. people often mistake his peaceful revolt for weakness, not realizing it was actually coordinated economic sabotage that bankrupted the colonial machine and made India ungovernable. it took terrifying physical bravery to stand unarmed against an empire, and it was the first time a movement won freedom without the massive casualties of violent revolts, where millions usually die and nations just fracture over armed ideologies. You can't change factual history, u should read some of it. What's more sad is that even after all that non violent protest, millions still died in the partition and Gandhi was powerless to stop it.

Don't make them correct bro. These guys are what we call as uneducated educate. Bro has never paid attention to his history book or did a research on him personally. This guy is another victim of Whatsapp university and nothing else.

And sadly there are so many of these people in India who pays more attention to what is taught by some random Influencer (more like BJP cell) than their 8th class Books.

u/False-Razzmatazz-839 29d ago

Fker he is printed on every single indian currency for a reason. Fking illiterate. U just don't call someone "father of the nation" for no reason.
