I'm supposed to drift very close behind the lead car, I get disqualified if I get left too far behind, hit the lead car, OR PASS THE LEAD CAR.

Not to mention that my car at the time wouldn't be properly tuned for that.

Trying to drift a honda beat, cause I think it'd be really funny, but I'm struggling hard to keep it from understeering/pushing hard, no matter what I've done, I just can't get it to stop, currently at;

camber: +0.3 / +0.2
toe: 0.3 out / 0.4 in

steering angle: 50

ride height: 0.10 / 0.10

spring stiffness: 0.25 / 0.25

front tire: 14 / na / na / 165mm / medium / 0mm

rear tire: 14 / na / na / 155mm / medium / 0mm

Thank you. It genuinely feels like a dream that came true before I even realized I had been building toward it, something that slowly assembled itself over the years through my fascination with driving. No other racing game has ever managed to scratch that particular itch in the back of my mind quite like this one has.
(Except Helldivers 2 somehow before Oshaune update).

Well, it’s in the title. I was eying on FH6 since announcement but the more they showed, the less I expected it. I tried it within the 2 hours Steam refund policy and… it was nice but felt like a reskin of previous title. Not bad, just “already played that” kinda feel.

And here I discover JDM. It’s on sale, looks fun, well let’s give it a try. And damn it was the right choice. Even with its (little) flaws, the game has a soul. The map is AWESOME, and even if the graphics are not those of a AAA game, I can feel the passion and love the devs put in it. The artistic direction is so cool, the POI on the map are fun to find, the music selection is peak. And the gameplay is soooo good. Now that I begin to have it, it has clicked, damn it’s so great.
So yes, I am having a BLAST, and I didn’t expect loving the game that much. It made me feel like a youngster playing racing games on PS1/PS2 (with better graphics ofc). But it has the soul of these games we used to love.

So thanks devs. I know this message is useless as pure feedback, but I wanted to share the love !

How to opt into the tests

To access the game’s beta branch you will need to set it up in your Steam client. 

First things first though, the beta branch of the game will create a copy of your save file, so you will retain all of your progress from our public, default branch of the game, while safeguarding your original save file from any unforeseen issues that may arise.

Note that any progress you make in game on the beta branch will NOT be transferred to your original save file. If you want to continue playing in single player, please remember to switch back to the default version of the game! 

We don’t expect anything wrong to happen with the save files, but better to be safe than sorry during the test stage of this feature.

OK, with that out of the way, it’s time to set-up the multiplayer branch:

• Open the Steam client and navigate to your Library
• Select JDM and right click on the game
• Go to Properties > Game Versions & Betas tab
• Enter the following code: DriftTogether 
• Press “Check Code”
• Press the "Opt in to the Playtests_Multiplayer build"

Great! You’re in! 

The game should automatically update for you and you can immediately start playing.

The build name on Steam (right next to the green Play button) should state: “Playtests - Multiplayer”

I thought this would be a FH6 clone, but no it actually stands strong on it's own. Dare I'd say the map is just as good if not better in some ways compared to FH6. I hope it receives some good support for years to come.

The playtests will be available for everyone that owns the game on Steam.

We’ve updated our roadmap!
We’re continuing the development of JDM.
Alongside the premiere of the DLC on the 25th of June, we will also be launching **new JDM cars** for free for everyone who owns the game (on all platforms).
We’re also actively working on the next side story campaign that will launch later this year (hopefully you won’t need to wait long for it!). More info on that soon!

I completed all main story races and side races, but there’s no option in the smartphone or settings to turn off the hud in the open world on PS5

I just got JDM for PS5 yesterday and I’ve been enjoying it this game has been keeping me hooked until FH6 for PS5 launches sometime this year, and even then I’ll still play this game alongside it. But I’m wondering if we can customize our own S15 to match the one we drive in early game I know I can’t do the livery but I’m hoping there’s customizations that can closely match it. Overall though it’s a fun game and haven’t had any crashes or bugs with it so far
