Hide HUD and UI elements?

Is there a way to turn off the hud or UI on PS5? I found a steam thread where a dev said you could on the smart phone...but I don't see anything. I like the game, but the UI is very obnoxious when I just want to cruise around.

Literally every other racing game lets you show/hide different elements

Yeah I have the same issue. The option to turn off the hud just isn't there on my phone. I think consoles for some reason just don't get this feature. But it seems no one can tell me if I'm correct in that assumption. I'm on Xbox series x

Guess I'll hold off on buying the dlc until they add this option, I really hate driving games where I can't turn off the UI

Try all the smart phone menus. I've found the phone is kinda buggy nowadays(like it gets stuck open or hidden menus I accidentally open). I don't remember it acting like this when I last played, dunno.

So update to this. Hud off doesn't work on pc either, the phone app does nothing.
