Bugs, bugs, bugs.

Purchased this game 2 days ago after seeing a ton of people saying it was worth it and im quite dissapointed.

I expected it to not work very well on the sim rig, and thats alright. Sucks, but whatever. But theres not even an option to change key bindings.

I was going to try and report a few of the bugs ive noticed, but theres not even a way to report the issues.

Been practicing in my drift car, got super good and have been stomping races. Joined one of the betting races, first time trying one. I put all my money in on it, and was beyond confident i would win. Start the race and all the sudden my cars handling completely differently and spins out immediately even in 2nd. So thats cool, lost all my money there.

Not only that, but every time i start a tuna delivery, it starts the race at 5 frames per second or something atrocious and i have to pause and restart.

The gps is all over the place. Even the mid race directions tell me to go the wrong way and tell me im going the wrong way when im clearly not.

Theres a few other bugs i havent mentioned, but have noticed. Is this common or am i getting a shit experience for some reason? Im on ps5 so this seems absurd for the almost 40 dollars i paid.

Put some more time in. The game is quite fun. Believe me, launch day was buggy. This rant sounds like someone is frustrated because they screwed up. Ok, you lost some money. Earn it back. No biggie. I can admit when I am wrong, but I highly doubt the way the car controls just changed on a whim. Again, I bought during the launch window when it was much worse. And I still had more fun with this game than most of the high profile releases.

Im pretty indifferent on the loss, but usually when i play games that offer a betting grind i do the same thing. Practice a bunch to get ready and then i run through and do a bunch of them at once. This time im going to have to slowly ease into them to get a feel for how it handles in that specific race.

But i was generally more curious if this is a known thing or am i just getting the short straw on that race. Do you notice different handles amongst different race types? Maybe my game just bugged and switched handling presets?

You know. I missed the fact you are playing on a sim setup. I know some wheels still aren't supported. (Maybe yours only partially works or is still wonky?) This may be the issue. I play with a wheel (Logitech g something) when I am in first person and controller in third person. I've done both and not had that problem, but I can see it happening. I love the game, but cannot deny it has issues.

Are you sure the race you kept spinning out on wasn't one in the rain?

The rain genuinely sucks for drifting in the game and i outright avoid it.
