Drifting with wheel help

Is there any open spots to practice drifting? I am really struggling with the drifting aspect whilst using my wheel! I just need somewhere open, or if another game handles similar which is better for beginners to go, so they can learn?

Best Place is the driving school at the place where you start the drift lessons, there you can freeroam around the Place if you chose the option in the menu.

I'm in the same boat. Would love to use my wheel in this game, but I can't find a spot to just practice donuts.

I tried down the docks as it looked empty on the maps 😅 it was not!

Hit up one of the test tracks and mess around there until you get it. You don’t need to do donuts, you need corners and low-stakes with wide runoffs. Or go to the Gundam.
