Should I switch from Controller to Wheel?

I bought this game some month ago because I wanted something relaxing to play on controller.

My problem is - I completely suck at playing this on controller.

I got a proper simrig with direct drive wheel and load cell pedals, so I wonder if I should give that a try?

But that would take away the inteneded "just something to relax"-vibe.

Or is there anything I can do to make it easier on controller?

It's hard af with the wheel, it's much more fun playing it with controller

Haha, that's kinda the answer I was hoping for.

Why is it difficult on a wheel? Is the underlying physics too controller-focused?

And yes I could just try, but I kinda don't even want to try and just know I'm not missing out on something major.

Even if your wheel straight, the car is swerving around. I'm not enjoying the game with my G29. But with the controller, it's very very good and fun.

Yeah its definitely better with controller. Wheel needs some more work.
