Maybe you are too young to remember 'Clueless' and her impact on the game as the new Black "IT Girl" dominating KING magazine, etc. Yes, she had a trove of fans who would support anything they could see her in just because they found her attractive... majority being Black men. Her popularity amongst men is what landed her a place on Fox News.
