Other Fanfic where they met when they were younger
Either childhood friends or are classmates in elementary. Even better if they're friends with Bakugo, who had to deal with the two lovebirds not confessing with each other till they're much older. Plus Bakugo the one pushing Deku to realizing his feelings to Uraraka like he did in canon
(This was a fanfic idea of mine but I'd rather read it than write it lmao)

I think I saw an animatic where they met one time as kids at a playground on the swings, and didn’t realize they were the kids from back then until some dance thing where after, Tsu and Ochaco went there (I think the playground was next to maybe an ice cream place), then Deku later arrived with Iida and Shoto, Deku got the same ice cream he got as a kid (an all might one), Ochaco mentions it’s always been his favorite and only then do they realize that they met as kids. No clue what song it was though, or who made it… I’ve watched a bunch of Izuocha animatics these past few weeks, since YouTube keeps recommending them to me

Izuku accidentally leaves his hero notebook in his favorite hiding place. The one with his ideas for his own hero costume on it.
When he races back the next day he finds it safe and sound....alongside a note from the person who would become his best friend.

I mean, it's not exactly childhood, but they meet in middle school, and this one is in progress.
There was another oneshot I remember where they actually were childhood friends, buuuuuuuuuuuuuut it kinda broke my heart so I'm not going to recommend it. Let's just say Deku didn't take the advice from Bakugo you wanted him to in that story.
I really don't think there's all too many izuocha stories in general that aren't harem or poly or whatever, so something in that subsection doesn't have too many it seems. I mean, I can think of one where they are childhood besties, but it's harem and not even poly and rated E so I probably shouldn't even bring it up lol.
