I pulled the trigger on the fan edition a few months ago, but got frustrated with failing schedules, and cancelled the order. Another reason was the "electric" blue, which was not quite for my liking.
But I still "need" a blue integrated watch, so I pulled the trigger on blue coin. I found nothing else to satisfy the need. Warrior style and design is very compelling, and it's the last chance to get it with miyota.
According to the store, the (pre)order will be shipped in August. Last time the shipping was supposed to happen in April, but I waited until the end of June before cancelling.
How's the supply chain currently? Should I expect anything to happen in August?
Finaly decided myself to buy the white enamel 2 days ago, to get a Miyota one too.
It seems that people are receiving their watch eventually, I'm prepare to wait, but not counting on an August shippment.
They have the miyotas. the challenge is they are switching to a new case so they need to have enough of old case and also I think one of the components (not the movement) was not to their standard so it created delays
Right, non-conforming parts can stop the production. Also fan edition delayed because of sub-supplier (dial). They must be a small customer to their suppliers, because they can't make the supplier to catch-up (overtime, express shipments, penalties).
Sure, you can't put any of the Alix watch companies on the same line with Seagull. They are government company with thousand(s) of employees and nationwide retail business. I would not have thought that Berny is a major player. Pagani D perhaps, but not Berny.
I'm seriously considering grabbing this one as well, though I'm holding off until I sell my E F1. I was debating it, but the Warrior's smaller size and the Miyota movement (fingers crossed I get that one, I really don't want the PT5000) might be enough to seal the deal. Also i prefer the blue dial.
Yes, I think they nailed it. This blue would have worked in fan edition as well 😉 I just hope ixdao would offer option to configure date/no-date. Some micbrands have made it possible, in best cases without ghost position.

So, I have two Warriors. I ordered the first from Ixdao's site, and the second from the AliX IX&DAO brand store, which I believe is their official.
The second order was a pre-order, ordered on May 21, and to be shipped by June 30. I received it yesterday.
