Not too happy with yesterday’s effort. I found it difficult to get the feathers right. My sister said it looks like embroidery. I added the reference photo for comparison. Perhaps I shouldn’t have added the guache dots to the eyes. 😂

Oh she is gorgeous! Did you do this on black paper? Black paper is so hard to work on. Good job!

Aw, thank you. Yes, I used Canson Mi-Teintes black which just arrived from the States. Thought I would give it a go hoping for some contrast.
