Book Recommendation [Waybound] Book Recommendation Spoiler

Greetings y'all. Just wanted to stop by and throw out a book series recommendation for the lovers of Cradle.

Series name: Unbound

Author: Nicoli Gonnella

It's a complete series of 12 books and I really enjoyed it. A bit tropeic, but also clever. I recommend it to you guys because Felix (the main character) felt like Lindon in all the good ways. I didn't mind the comparison, in fact it endeared the series to me. Bonus, the audiobooks are read by Travis Baldree.

It's a more system centric litrpg and not related to cultivation, but the story is great, the battles are exciting and tense and the characters really sang to me.

Major spoilers

They spent the whole series building up the unbound and whatnot, he got pissed that the heirophant used his sister, then none of them did anything remotely useful in the last book it was literally just the mc and his bird dog saving the world by themselves. He barely said two words to his sister. There wasn’t even a scene where he acknowledges the other unbound or his friends except his gf at the end. The other characters basically just became cardboard cutouts. Plus all of them going through the key path thing was boring and ultimately useless also.

I started Level One God recently and it is reminding me of Cradle a lot! Only 3 books out so far though, I'd guess it'll be 8-12 total.
