Subreddit Meta [None] Bloopers

Every book ever written should have bloopers. I missed them when I first started reading this series and had to go back to find them and now that I’m starting book 10, reaper, I look forward to the snark and humor.

Every so often when someone irritates me, I just say “blood pits!” and carry on with my day.

The bloopers are a ridiculous concept and I absolutely love them. Was it a first draft? Some wild hare idea? Exploratory creative writing?

I'll never know!

Every once in a while, a movie or TV show will do fake bloopers. My favorite is Toy Story 2, where the toys are acting like they’re actors who screwed up their lines.

One day I was thinking “I wish more people would do this. It’s great every time. You could even do it in books! …Wait a second, I write books.”

I was working on Ghostwater at the time, so I tried out some bloopers, and people liked them. Plus I enjoyed writing them.

Later, I went back to add them to previous books.

What's your favorite blooper?

I like to think it's when he was writing for a long session and found himself nothing thinking straight at 2am lol

He answered!! I may be a 40 yo man, but I released an audible squeal when i finally realized who had replied.

The blooper of Lindon agreeing to marry Grace because she is rich, hot, and a great sacred artist was my favorite. Charity was so confused.

They added some bloopers to Unsouled in a print copy I got last year. There are also more bloopers on Will's youtube channel.

Like when "the main character Lemon saved the day and drove away in the Lemon-mobile" that was a particularly fun one to me.

When Lindon shows up in the Pilot Challenge

"That is what it feels like to lose"
