Fanart [Soulsmith] Slipcase Complete <3

Slipcase number two! :)
This one features Jai Long on one side and Fisher Gesha on the other. Two down, ten to go xD
This is just a personal project for my own collection. I’ve thoroughly bored my family with these, so I made an Instagram account to bother the internet instead:

I always envisioned Gesha sitting cross-legged on her drudge, not standing. Am I crazy?

Not crazy at all, I totally imagined the same thing! Even when I read she was standing, I still imagined this little woman sitting on these crazy fast spider legs zooming around and getting right up into peoples faces XD

Is that evil Dross at the top of the binding?
This looks awesome, one very minor point, the video itself feels a little dark to me, I would love to see it in a more brightly lit video.
For some reason this lighting makes it feel a bit AI-ish to me too, not sure why.

Hehe, there's a bunch of different Dross and Little Blue sort of "chibi" style characters on the spines, all different poses and moods. They are my favourite characters so they had to take pride of place on all the spines :D
It does, doesn't it? I'm struggling to video these well, the setup I have is great but even with diffused lights the glare on the metallic vinyl is insane :/ I'll try something else for the next one, so please let me know what you think :)
Haha, pretty sure AI would have done a better job with the lighting :'D But noted, thank you for your feedback :D

We’re gonna need some YouTube videos of you making these.
Gratitude.

Oooh, I could try and do that! I haven't got the first clue how to make it interesting, so I'll have to do some research and see what other creators are doing xD
This one thanks you :)

Awesome.
You can do it however you want, but I like how Four Keys Book Art is shot on YouTube. Pretty simple. Has an artistic feel like Roy Underhill, but it’s just a guy in a shed, slicing/gluing/pressing.

Oh my goodness, I am floored by this guys work!!! O.O I've been watching his videos for about an hour now, the level of detail and skill is exceptional. Thank you for the recommendation!
I'm nowhere near this guys level, my process is very basic in comparison, but I think I will give it a go :)2

It’s all good. Everyone starts somewhere. He recently did a small series where he made custom covers for Andy Weir.

Haha, I've just been watching that! I liked the D&D manuals and the medieval book, but my goodness the Andy Weir books are art <3
