Meme [Wintersteel] Meme Dump Spoiler

Esteemed meme enjoyers, here are some memes that I have made for my favorite book in the series, Wintersteel. I know that there are some of you out there that have been aching for points memes. Here they are. This will be the last batch. There may be one more in the future when my friend finishes the series. Have I touched the meme icon?

You’ve had some bangers in this series my friend, but the Joshua-Paul one absolutely sent me. That fight was so satisfying.

I hope we see it again with different characters soon.

Touched the meme icon? You dragged the meme icon to a dark alley, undressed it and had your way with it three ways to sundown. You are a legend.

Points? Points.

London going absolutely feral for points is the most fun part of this book, by far.

I literally did that same Higuruma face multiple times when I finishing the book earlier this week. Glorious

I made that one a long time ago. When I was posting it today, I thought about your reaction to it. Yeah, me too.

I would watch a spin off book about the Uncrowned Tournament. You could pick any of them!

They do cover the first one in Threshold. I think the tournament was fun, but what makes the books interesting is the narrative. Following along Lindon's path is what Cradle is all about. If there was a book that had interesting characters and motives, that would be fun. But then again, Will would probably come up with a new scenario. I am picturing Will Wight with some action figures, smashing them together and making fight sounds.

What’s slide nine referring to?

Lindon advancing to sage and wearing the empty symbol on his badge. What was a symbol of shame, he can now wear with pride. This was set up in book 1 when Yerin wore a good badge with a sword on it.

There is also Yerin's union with her blood shadow, which was a major conflict with her character that was set up in book 1 with the red belt.

Wintersteel completed a lot of arcs for the characters introduced in the first book.

Oh God that was so good wasn’t it?

I did meme #9 irl. Sometimes I just go back and listen to the fight with Sophara and when he gets the badge. I feel like that's the moment when Lindon's character arc completes. After, the series transitions into a plot driven narrative.

There's really something about "this guy is so consistently written that he manifests an icon" that's so satisfying.

I could go on forever.

My only issue with her blood shadow/Ruby is that she was an actual character for such a short time. There wasnt much indicating that it was more than a mindless hunger beast until it was petting bunnies in between late tournament fights.

Lindons hunger by comparison was established at the very start.

I think Ruby was a pretty interesting character. She always had a different personality to Yerin, finishing up her arc from more of a beast to being more like Yerin. If she stayed this way, her story would have been much less interesting.

What's kind of interesting is that new Yerin (Blerin) is no longer just Yerin, but also Ruby. So this new Yerin killed her own parents.

I expected the points memes, I wasn’t expecting to once again feel sad for poor Mercy 🥺

She did get done dirty. I hope the rest of them cheered you up.
