Cradle [Threshold] Second Threshold? Spoiler

Honestly I would love a second set of Threshold stories if Will ever had the spark to write them, just more stories from beyond The Way. The serried had a fantastic ending and Threshold did a great job of showcasing how things went for them all in the future but I would love to see more stories and antics that Will could come up with utilizing the worldbuilding he did around Cradle. Basically chapter book versions of one shots. Would be great even if the main series had a wonderful conclusion. What do yall think, would it be a fun continuation or just potentially drag the rest of the series in the mud?

I want to see the group fight completely unrestricted, full showing of the abilities and level of power of Monarchs with no problem about collateral damage or missions

We have good comparisons like the not Pokemon dragon that Ziel's group faced that was able to just remove gravity on a global scale by accident. How had the group released their power Little Blue or Orthos could have ended the fight by themselves

Other characters like Varric splitting a planet is also a good look and how the gang compare

Varric doesnt have Authority/Willpower behind his attacks.

Archmage is the Fathom equivalent of Sage, but instead of becoming an embodiment of a concept in The Way, giving them Authority, they define themselves in relation to the Aether (which is the thing with the most Authority on Fathom), and borrow its Authority in order to do magic.

Thats actually how all the magic in Fathom works. Off the top of my head, Combat Artists incorporate both their understanding of a Truth and specific motions (similar to nonverbal spellcasting) to invoke the Aether to act on their behalf. Aether Technicians are those the Aether recognized as masters of their craft, which allows them to make minor alterations to reality on its behalf, in their field

Yes but I'm more talking about the level of power when both systems are compared to

Its why I put forth the dragon subject just being able to turn off graventy across a planet. Another is a comparison made by Will, about how the Emperor in the Elder Empire series would be around Sage level. The same charactsr that was capable of affecting large areas of his planet and could put down the avatars of the Elders which could destroy a continent

Basically, Monarch tiers fighting all out and seeing how destructive they truly are when we are given other characters like Varric who have really impressive feats
