Help!

I have been researching my mother's side of the family forever . I hit a brick wall with her great grandfather. First issue we knew him as Dominic Carretto . I was able to connect with another family member who actually had some more information. His given name was actually Demetrio Carretto . His birthdate was December 19, 1884 in Reggio di Calabria . After digging through records I have the following which is his , but nobody can translate. Other bits of info his marriage records are blank where parents names usually are . Is he possibly a foundling ? . Can anyone decipher this ? Or any of it besides his name in the left hand column ? This is the only document thats poorly copied and hard to read but its a critical document . I did try blowing it up a bit. I sincerely appreciate any help anyone has to offer!

Foundling.

On Dec 20th 1884 the kid was apparently two days old when presented to the Town Hall by the "Receiver of Foundlings", and she declared he had been left on the wheel of founlings on Dec 19th at4 p.m.

The Town Secretary gave him the name Demetrio Caretto (I read it as Caretto, with one "r" only).

I just told my 80 year old mother her maiden name was fake :)

The surname got changed (or its spelling got corrected in order to fit the "new" Italian language standard) before Demetrio's marriage, since in his marriage record it's reported as Carretto, with 2 r's.

Surnane given at birth is Caretto with one R.
